Marcus joined the Interstate team in 2014 as a third generation of the family in commercial real estate. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Finance. Marcus was a three-year starter for the baseball team leading the Wildcats to a SEC Championship and two NCAA regional appearances. Marcus finished his collegiate career with four consecutive SEC Academic Honor Rolls, a 2009-2010 All-SEC Baseball accolade, 2010 Johnny Bench Watch list and the acceptance of the Frank G Ham Society of Character award. He went on to play for both the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Angels enjoying a 10-year professional career. Marcus’s last year was with the Rockland Boulder’s as a pitching coach. Marcus married Christine J Nidiffer in the summer of 2020 and welcomed their first child Reece in August of 2021.
