Brent and Pati have been married over 30 years and have two children, Taylor and Chase. Taylor received an undergraduate degree in biology at UCLA and a Master’s degree in environmental sciences at the University of Maryland where she finished top of her class. Currently, she works with Ecohaven, LLC, a company in which she co-founded and focuses on environmental restoration through government grants. She also began law school in 2022 at the University of Tennessee and currently assists Mike Hamlin at Interstate. Chase attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) on a golf scholarship and received an undergraduate degree in Finance. During his time at Tennessee, he was selected to the VoLeaders Academy, a group of student-athletes who aim to promote social change and make a positive impact around the world; he ended his VoLeader experience with a cultural immersion trip to Belize. Also, while at Tennessee, Chase worked on his first development deal renovating a 8,000 sq ft building in downtown Knoxville. Chase now works with Interstate as a Retail Consultant and Property Manager.
